Naa. I don't think AA cares what was flown. Bedford is in bed with both American and Airways mgmt as well as Embraer, thus making the deals fairly easy to get done. I also fully expect the 53 to turn into much more. Those 47 options will be exercised if our crappy company can continue to attract new hires.

If you mean to AA, THEN eventually yes, that seems almost a certainty. The 824 have an arbitration award that seems extremely unlikely to be vacated even in bankruptcy. The question really is the timeline for all those to make the move. The merger may or may not negatively impact the movement of those pilots, but since the merger will require approval from not only the bankruptcy judge , but the DOT and Justice, it will take probably till the end of the year to pass those hurdles alone and each carrier still will likely choose to defend most, if not all of their market share in the interim and that means replacement for attrition.
Beyond those obstacles, it could 2 years beyond that to actually truly merge the two carriers.

Pinnacle being bankrupt certainly does help in this quest though..... Don't think for a second it doesn't......
