The Useful PSA Thread

Are you serious?? Then please elaborate on what I've misunderstood from my previous post. Sorry for calling you d bag, it's a little frustrating at times trying to make someone understand we're not all that different. Lastly, why is it hard to believe I have friends at republic? I went to the biggest aviation school and have taught for over 3 years with many coworkers and students across the regionals and majors. Did you not pay your dues like everyone else?
Apology accepted. The statement about friends just sounded like a lame (I know everything because my friends there said so), if I misunderstood your post, I apologize. For the record, I came to RAH because a new contract was around the corner at the time and I could be home based. The contract turned out to be garbage, and 85% of us said oh no you don't. We turned down a pay raise to do the right thing. I paid my dues in the 135 world for years and lost my job, and let me tell you Hostile management isn't exclusive to the 121 world, so I do know what I am talking about. My integrity (training contract) was why I stayed, and also I want to be a part of the solution since I am already here. Unfortunately for us when another group accepted less than what we turned down, it destroyed what leverage we had gained, so yeah emotions are running raw right now against certain pilot groups, and when a member of said group bashes RAH pilots in an effort to make his decisions more acceptable, well I have to respond.

The flying Republic secured because of the cheap labor cost of your pilots will force new pilots like yourself to go there even with that horrible contract. Just like how new and old pilots are flocking to PSA, Mesa and Compass. At least PSA has the best QOL amongst the latest booming regionals and possibly the best pay. Not that it excuses PSA from hurting Envoy indirectly but as a new hire, where would you rather go? And no it's not breaking news. Been like this since mainline gave up their scopes for their selfish desires.

You may be right, but we (RAH pilots) are the ones fighting from the insides against that. We are the ones sacrificing to fight this management team, so why not join with us and Envoy. Two of the largest pilot groups trying to do the right thing, and we get cut off by two groups with less than a 1000 pilots combined.
