Best guess is 8 months. However its hard to predict where everyone else who is being passed over for lack of 1000 hours is at right now. But with current attrition and 3 new planes being added every month it won't be long.

They seem to be running 2 months from interview to class date around here. When they offer you the job and a class date, if it works with your situation tell them you'd be available for any earlier openings that come up. I did that and ended up moving up a class.

Also, when you say 1000 121/135 PIC and SIC, you should double check the regs. The 135 PIC that's usable for meeting the requirement is very specific. If you've got 1,000 121 SIC it's a moot point obviously.

You're covered, and just checking. Welcome to the party.

Just found out that some guys in my class awarded DAY have Round 1 lines before they're done with IOE. I expect I'll have the same in TYS shortly.

Some of the folks got CLT CA for their upgrade too! You would think that would be senior and hard to get on first bid.

I agree with you. Think about whats gonna happen when they are an FO and the captain does something that you didn't agree with. (not breaking FAR's or anything. Just said something that offends you) That person will probably go straight to the chief pilot about a situation instead of consulting the captain (which is the right move) instead.

I know you love PSA and feel the need to defend them all of the time but some of us have an outside perspective beyond just the old mom and pop operation. I have seen people kicked out of the training department for much less in my time so feel free to say whatever you want just don't be suprised (esp in the year 2015) that some of it may come back to bite you. Having a little self awareness goes a long way.
You all realize that the "cussing" was the other word for poop. And, it was maybe a handful of times. What I thing that happened was HR was in the room when this happened and HR said something about it to the instructors later. I am in that class right now. The room was pretty much entertained the whole time and I didn't see one frown in the room.

Oh well, it's said and done. Time to move on.

My point is valid and you know it.

I don't think we are adults at all. That is very obvious. Adults know how to be professional and set a standard. After all, many of the people in your indoc classes are barely in the adult world as far as age, and are very impressionable. I love how you guys all rush to play damage control when yet another embarrassing feature of PSA comes out. It only makes you look more unprofessional.

Bottom line: if your indoc IPs are cussing so much that it has come up on an Internet forum, by several people that have both like and disliked it, then you have a problem. Stop trying to cover it up and address it. Calling people names, bashing them for not bringing it up to the individual directly, and posting silly memes, really is just your usual form of misdirection.

Whatever you have seen in the cockpit of legacy carriers is not the same as in an indoc class. I can assure you it does not go on at Envoy either. We have rules here that would get you fired for cussing your heart out on indoc. I simply cannot believe you are defending it in ANY way.
I love how you like to argue with everyone about anything. lol talk about professionalism, and your the one that stretches an argument out forever.

Get a grip. People have opinions, they don't need to hear 13 different ones from one person (you)

These are first-world problems you are grasping at. Regardless of where people stand on this issue (if it even exists), it seems to be difficult to communicate with you because you don't appear to be objective. You have assigned excessive importance to this issue in an attempt to further support your narrative.

Because Doug calls the shots, and I presume it was the cheaper way to merge/acquire. What I am sure of, is that the decision was not influenced by alleged indoc instructor language in a wholly owned subsidiary.
