Will you hold a line in CLT in January? I'm in training right now and thinking about TYS until I can hold a line in CLT.

Question for PSA pilots. Trying to understand the bidding. I understand that PSA does not use PBS. Does that mean pilots just bid lines? If so, does SAP simply mean the ability to drop and pick up trips from your awarded line?
Also, I understand you can drop to 65 hours. How realistic is this if you want to fly just 65 hours without picking up trips. Can you be junior manned?
Also, can trips be traded? If so, is that a computer thing or is that manually through scheduling? Are trip trades counted against the SAP in any way?
Sorry for the newb questions, if anyone can point me in the direction of any instructions that might be better.

Yes, however the SAP is completed outside the constraints of coverage. You can only be denied a trade if someone else picked it up, or if it violates a reg.

If you only want to fly 65 hours, then you only fly 65 hours. If you don't want to be junior manned, don't answer your phone on your day off.

Trades are done on on automated computer system. They are not counted against the SAP as the SAP occurs prior to any trading.

I guessing this is not at all necessary... just throwing out out there. If you could teach a cat to fly right now and scribbled 1500 hours in a logbook he/she could get hired.
