He didn't seem like the type to wash out. He was pretty sharp. He just said that his class had a high failure rate due to no fault of their own. According to him, the instructors taught them "their way". And the examiners wanted to see everything done by the book. And there has been a high turnover rate of DOTs and instructors there hasn't there? I'm interviewing on Thursday and I'm just hoping to shed some more light on this rumor.
I haven't started IPT yet, but one of the main training guys came in and emphasized the importantance of standardization. I have a hard time believing in this environment that they're letting instructors make up stuff.

No signing bonus, however guarantee is 75 hours from day one, and you're paid 24/7 per diem (tax free) for about 8 weeks total in training. Works out to about $2,300.
The employee referral is $500 is one of your referrals gets through IOE, and another $500 after your referral makes it through 6 months on property.
