And there has been a high turnover rate of DOTs and instructors there hasn't there? I'm interviewing on Thursday and I'm just hoping to shed some more light on this rumor.
All but two of the guys that started on the 13th are still in the program. One was a paperwork issue, and the other was personal, and both are coming back for later class dates.

I haven't started IPT yet, but one of the main training guys came in and emphasized the importantance of standardization. I have a hard time believing in this environment that they're letting instructors make up stuff.

PSA does not offer a hiring bonus. They do offer an employee referral bonus though.

No signing bonus, however guarantee is 75 hours from day one, and you're paid 24/7 per diem (tax free) for about 8 weeks total in training. Works out to about $2,300.

The employee referral is $500 is one of your referrals gets through IOE, and another $500 after your referral makes it through 6 months on property.

The gouges on aviationinterviews were good for me. There's the usual show and tell, 25 question knowledge test, then about a 20 minute interview with a current pilot plus an HR person.

If you interview Thursday you'll have a chance to ask about these training issues.

I can assure you that the instructors will not allow someone who is not ready to be in the left seat in the left seat. Dosent matter if they have been here 8 years or 8 months
