Question: if the PSA pay scale is based on a blended rate depending on the number of aircraft as more 900s and 700s come over does that increase the pay rate?

Yes. The pay scale is adjusted quarterly to match the fleet counts.

I overheard a pilot saying that PSA upgrade is down to 8 months. Can anyone confirm that?

It seems to be based on whenever someone hits 1000 hours as SIC in 121. This will surely increase soon, but right now it is a year (or a touch less if you came in with 121 SIC time).

The upgrade dropped to 8 months because of 100+ bypassing.

I'm sure the real upgrade is at least around 2 to 3 years if you are coming in with 1500TT and no 121 time.

I guess whenever someone gets the 1000 121 time they can upgrade. So 1-2 years
