it doesn't matter how many pilots voted, it matters because the result of your vote set new precedent. It matters because every time a management group comes the the negotiating table, they use PSA's contract as their goal. They say "we need concessions to be competitive with PSA"

I understand what you mean. BUT if they're looking for any regional to match PSA's contract, then you should agree and get PSA's exact contract! Not just the pay caps but also the SAP and critical pay!

No but had the company asked for SAP for new aircraft none of you loud mouths would say a word. However that was left untouched and the pilots there thought the benefit of a larger fleet and career progression in conjunction with keeping such a valuable tool was worth a 12/4 cap and guaranteed pay raises for 10 years......

But hey they all should apologize right? They have a good contract for a regional, growth, and movement. Sounds awful.

PSA started the year with 49 airplanes, (if I recall correctly). They'll add 30 CRJ900's by mid-2015 and 49 additional CRJ 700's by mid 2016. That's a total of 128 aircraft.

At a minimum, of 10.5 pilots per aircraft, they'll need 1344 pilots by mid-2016. Which leads me to my questions:

1) How many pilots does PSA currently have on their roster?
2) How many pilots have they managed to hire so far, in 2015?
3) How many pilots is PSA losing per month: to US/AA Mainline, other airlines/corporate jobs, retirements, and washouts?
4) How many upgrades per month?
5) What is the most junior Captain's DOH?
And that pilot #1344 will take 28 years to flow at 48 flows per year.

But hey!!! Fast upgradeeeee!!!!

With 18% attrition (retirement/failure/resignation) rate per year, it is actually about 9 years.

You're getting all this great stuff at the expense of Eagle pilots. PSA is getting Eagle's CRJs as a direct result of your YES vote. Sure, you didn't know when you voted you would be taking Eagle's CRJs, but nevertheless, I highly doubt PSA would have gotten our CRJs without the PSA yes vote.
