Hey. Does anyone know about the app called Jetaway and where I can find it? I heard you can use it for non-rev.

Also, now that the the wings US non-rev will be deactivated and you can only use NRTP. Does anyone know why they charge more using NRTP?

Example: My dad want a trip SEA-PSP the connecting flight is in PHX. On the US non-rev service its only like $40 then you do the same flight on NRTP and its almost doubled!

Does American charge for each leg?

I started way before the bubble and it was 5 months from new hire to completion of IOE at the time, for whatever reason my IOE was delayed a lot more than my class mates, they were 4 months beginning to end. So, who knows.

I was hired feb and just finished differences IOE about 1-2 weeks ago

How much down time did you have between training events?

I think it's distance based. You can check the price before flying. But connecting flights always end up more than direct.
The app is available under the resources tab in jetnet.

Sweet thanks I appreciate it.

The weird thing is you can pull up the same flight under both sites and it is still more on NRTP

What happend to the BNA base rumor? Sorry if I missed it but I would go to PSA only to move back to Tennessee. Maybe I could look into TYS. I'm not worried about a airline career anymore.

Just didn't make the cut, maybe next base opening (don't get your hopes up though). Myself, as well as many others I know, currently make the drive from Nashville to Knoxville for PSA. Takes me about 2:45 door to door and I don't have to worry about weather or not I will make the last flight home, my car always has an open seat for me...

If not, you can always go for the CLT base and commute from BNA. At least 7 or 8 flights daily.

How many times do you find yourself driving to Knoxville in a typical month? Im trying to get a rough estimate on how many times I will make that drive, so I can work up a little travel budget and figure our what kind of mileage my vehicle will be looking at. Ive figured my drive right at 2:45 as well. Im only 10 min from BNA, but I think I am subscribing to your theory about not having to worry about getting a spot on a flight.
