I have an idea. Apply for a management position and effect change or go somewhere you can be happy.
Why wouldn't they announce it as soon as they could? How does it benefit the company to hide it? If you knew about their plan for months then I guess it wasn't a secret was it?

-They blasted the internet before the employees. Pretty disrespectful.
-The plan of opening a new base has been known, that's it.
-Show me a regional that doesn't have crappy management.
-I never said I was unhappy. I just avoid Dayton and the CLT crew room. Each place kills a little bit of your soul.

-They didn't release the info right away. The only reason they got around to telling the employees is because they were informed of our displeasure and even then it was the least amount of info they could possibly share. When are the base bids coming out?

I doubt much flying will come out of LGA. Especially cvg-LGA because of the slot swap with delta. I believe they don't even have a slot....?
I mean envoy is still operating out of LGA past November, just no base. Waterski has been doing some AA stuff also, but there is no other reduction from rah/Awac/pdt in LGA....probably just more 900's in Phl and dca I'd imagine

We now park in the main concourse in DCA just like the Republic. Maybe we will get republic flying out of PHL and park in the main concourse where the 900s would fit better than the narrow F gates.

...and what would happen with a staffing/computer/work/contract, etc.. issue do in CLT? 30 flights a day? Try over 100 flights a day!
30 flights a day is not a big deal and AAG would have no concerns having a single carrier do that much flying out of a city. Look at the amount of lift that single regionals provide out of other cities.
The truth is, CVG is a huge market and AAG can make money there. They can use it as a starting point to provide flying out of DCA, IND, and ORD. The rent is cheap, and the airport is welcoming AAG and PSA. There are facilities there, and it is a fairly decent place to commute to/from. With the added flying that PSA will be doing, CVG will be a one leg commute from dozens of major cities.
Also, AAG wants to start using the 900's as a platform for longer flights (thus the introduction of the meal service). Expect 3-3.5 hour flights out of CVG on 900's.
