Choose the place with the easiest commute from Michigan. Pay and upgrade are similar. One flies E-145 50 seater and the other flies CRJ-200,700,900 50 and 76 seaters. Your goal should be the place that gets you into class fastest and the best commute. Unless you have skeletons in your closet, you'll be picked up by a major before you upgrade to Captain.

If you have any questions about TSA training, PM me and I'll answer what I can. For what it's worth, I left one of the so called "good" regionals to come here and so far I don't regret it.

I would agree with the others: pick the path of least commute. What about Compass or even Endeavor? a DTW base would be good for you. Like others have said, if you are ex military with no skeletons, you'll be at a major in no time so upgrade times and other things pertinent to the average regional new hire are of less concern to you right now.
Thanks for your service (Ex-AF Driver)

If it were me I would chose PSA. If you already have the mins to upgrade then you will do so in about 6-7 months. You will spend about 2 months in training. 1.5-2 months waiting on IOE at home while getting paid. Then come off IOE with a line and upgrade in 3-4 months. If you do the TSA thing then great you get to log a little PIC time when they let you fly in the left seat but again you are scheduling's puppet on both the CA side and the FO side for a long time. You will be getting paid less over the course of your first year at TSA and not have the QOL that the contract has at PSA. Just my 2 cents.
