Don't forget to add in the signed agreement between all the FFD MEC's agreeing to stick together from the meeting in 2013. Do you still have a copy of that?

Envoy had no choice in their last vote after PSA voted yes and completely screwed any chance of solidarity and upward trends. Only an absolute idiot can claim Envoy did the same thing PSA did. Envoy lost 97 aircraft after the PSA vote! 47 of our CRJ's to PSA and 50 EMB's. With no replacements. What did PSA lose before their vote? Oh yeah.. Nothing.. Just a promise of nice shiny jets coming in in exchange for concessions at the rest of the industries expense. At a time of record profits..

At this point Envoy was doomed, we lost most of our fleet, we were losing pilots like crazy and had zero hope of survival after losing more aircraft than many other regionals even had in the first place. Without that vote PSA and others would have just taken everything else from us until we were shut down and unemployed.
I like this guy

So, what you're telling me is that PSA should have ignored the writing on the wall that almost everyone there saw (even the no voters), so that they can justify their reluctant acceptance of the TA with tangible evidence in the shape of actual aircraft loss? Your claims make zero sense. You are basically saying that PSA should have waited to lose some planes before inevitably voting yes. That is beyond ridiculous.

No I'm saying everyone should have stuck together and collectively told them to go to hell (we are all ALPA). Like we were doing. Then we wouldn't be put in this situation of "having" to accept a terrible deal at a time of record profits. Either of us.

Well how else does it come then?

I am completely onboard, so long as you can somehow get MESA TSA and the rest of the contract carriers to deny placement of aircraft on their properties. The amount of planes all those guys are getting, would suggest that is an impossibility.

How did you get that out of what he said? He makes perfect sense, and most of the industry completely agrees with him.

At AE they would notify you by ACARS or have a person from the CP's office meet you at the gate.

By the contract you could always play the "ACARS isn't a legal form of positive contact" game, but that would only have you doing a carpet dance in the CP's office later.

Not picking up your phone on your day off falls under the "No duh" category.

And where was ALPA National? Certainly not leading that charge.

Envoy had no choice in their last vote after PSA voted yes and completely screwed any chance of solidarity and upward trends. Only an absolute idiot can claim Envoy did the same thing PSA did. Envoy lost 97 aircraft after 3 no votes, then a PSA (YES) vote. 47 of our CRJ's went to PSA after that yes vote, then 50 EMB's were given away. With no replacement aircraft. What did PSA lose before their vote? Were they in any real danger or just threats? Oh yeah.. They lost Nothing before caving on that vote..

Don't forget that all the ALPA FFD regionals signed that agreement EXCEPT PSA...

For example
They don't do airport reserve
They don't do junior manning

In many ways their contract is better than others. Our guys would kill for those two things.
How many people does airport reserve affect per month? A handful per base? And not every airline has 4+ year reserve to worry about sitting at the airport. You could also trade your cancellation pay with RAH for no junior manning.
