Oh and I wouldn't hold my breathe for our SSP. Worst rumor I've heard is keep it at 4 a month but turn it into a flow. So essentially, we're saving the company the time and resources for the useless interviews that are more of a courtesy than screening.

Envoy is six years?!?!? Pleas enlighten us and tell us the last group that flowed how long were they at envoy?

Its NOT 6 years. In fact, for the month of June, envoy sent 0-zero flows while PDT/PSA sent 5 to mainline.
Once again, them boys at envoy got played.
Good Luck!

I think he was being facetious. I agree 2500 hours is plenty to upgrade. However I don't agree with someone having no time in the equipment upgrading after 30-40 hours. If you have 10k hours with a few types then it's another story. But someone with min requirement is still trying to figure things out, so putting him/her in an unfamiliar type, in a new company, different routes and airports is a bad combo. Unless you're super pilot, then you're good to go!
If they can pass training they're good to go...unless the training department sucks or has no standards.

So then why did AAG fight so hard for the 12/4 pay caps. They may have "sold" the pay caps as being a non-issue, since no one will be at a wholly-owned for more than 8 years,...... but in reality, it may have been Dougie's plan all-along to leave as many pay-capped pilots at his regional(s) as possible.
Dougie is not stupid,....... (or trustworthy).

Your flow time is only dependent on the attrition above you and the hiring at mainline. Unless you think age 65 will go away, pilots can magically fly with no medical issues for age infinity, the economy will crash, and the airlines shrink, there is nothing holding back the hiring at mainline.
