Street Captains

I know it's Mesa, but I have yet to hear one good word about those Dash 8s they run. Obviously bad schedules and work rules but the safety is iffy and that's no good. Multiple high speed aborts, engine fires, etc.

Stay away from the Dash Captain thing, the Dashs in JFK are going away. Replaced with ERJ's from Dullas. You will end up junior and only able to hold Dash FO on the west coast.
The 1900 will get you street captain. Call airmidwest Directly, PM me for the #.
That program may be sold to Big Sky, only a rumor but it seems to have some teeth for a change. I will say this you will be reserve for quite a while as the street captains in my class have learned. 15% of your shifts will be in the right seat. Most likely MCI for right now.

So far this month alone, TSA has already lost around 10 captains to other airlines...They have a class of 10 in March and 20 upgrades in april...and it sounds like there will still be a few after that who have the times to upgrade. But after that, there will be a lot of FO's w/out the mins to upgrade. Again, just rumor, but someone claims to have heard it from the training department. Take it for what its worth.
