If you tip with a two dollars bill and the driver is less than thirty years old you would likely get a long stare followed by the question, "is this real?"

Pens?! What is this you speak of? Lol. The only things I miss from rooms are pens and notepads!

Getting pregnant or popping on a drug test are not the same as this, nice try. I was not particularly worried either, due to the reason you mention, I always wash my hands when I get to the hotel room, however mistakes happen and not everyone does that. You dont have to lick money for something to get on your hands. If you accidentally then rub your eye, well that's how viruses work. Not rocket science.

Given the immense publicity Covid received and the measures that governments around the world took to slow the spread, I am surprised more attention didn't get focused on paper money.

I am not saying that I was particularly worried about handling cash, just genuinely surprised more were not.

Oh hey, welcome back. I see you are once again only responding to the low hanging fruit. Care to go answer some of the replies to your last moronic statement or are you just going to ignore those as usual?
Boy what a turd in the punch bowl...

I solve that. I never ask for change back. And you do?

Any cash I get I soak in alcohol for 10 minutes. Seems like a good waste of Everclear, but...

Ah this never dying pure gold of a thread!

Pro tip: Us pilots make more money and have a great job. This poor scum has to drive and sling our over priced bags! Everyone can afford to tip at least $5 every time. Covid or not!!

Anti tip: I don’t have to give a single dollar. This guy knew what he was signing up for. He gets to go home at night!! I come home after a week on the road and find the UPS driver in bed with my wife! He just collected all the tips for every driver in 30 seconds!!

Neutral tip: I give when I can, a couple dollars. No biggie. Honestly don’t care if anyone else tips, I really don’t pay attention. I will drop a twenty if the driver is smokin hot and I’ll fling my own bag!!

I think that about sums it up

The whole "airline pilots make a lot of money and can afford to tip" argument is interesting when you consider the fact we have FOs bringing home <$30k.

It's a travel expense, one of several you have, and you get per diem for that.
