That’s my point, find something worth fighting for that rubs you the wrong way.
It’s not about running away from the issue, it’s about not perpetuating it. This same tipping logic would eventually mean that every service personnel should be tipped, whether or not the service is done, i.e. read how tipping started here in America.
Then try to putting your notice towards something of worth.

Who cares. Don’t tip if you don’t want. I don’t know your financial situation. If 6 dollars on a 4 day is going to break your bank, that sucks. But as a society, others will judge you for not tipping. No way getting around that one.

nah, people are still going to think you're a cheap f@#4. It only takes a millisecond of thought. It is not like that is preventing us from saving the children in Africa or something. The whole issue here is you just don't want to be noticed so you can feel less guilty about it. We notice you.
