You should be more worried about figuring out how to save your per diem to support your wife's gambling problem then worrying about my typos.

and/or why most companies now require you to get reimbursed instead of just giving you the cash. They know pilots will waste it on other stuff and show up to work with pit stained shirts and threadbare pants and ties.
We’re pilots, not bankers or lawyers. Our jobs aren’t always the cleanest. I’m not a slob with food stains on his shirt. I own 2 shirts, one of them has some grease from doing a walk around and having to get up close to the gear. You’re damn right I’m not buying another shirt when that one is still perfect.

Wow, how did I guess?

Your decision to wear old, stained clothes reflects poorly on everyone else at your shop.

I saw a captain at another airline the other day printing off paperwork with a baseball cap, loosened tie, 5.11 pants, and hiking boots. Makes me think they run a pretty loose ship over there.

Edit- aren’t you the account in the vaccine threads talking about getting one of each different vaccine?
bravo on the excellent trolling. I took the bait.

Dude... you wear a suit and tie to work. Our dress code might as well be the same as a banker or lawyer. You even earn more than many bankers or lawyers. You’re not a CFI anymore, and you don’t work in the gas and oil industry anymore, it’s time to start acting like it.

Wearing stained clothing and refusing to buy new shirts reflects poorly on yourself, and makes all airline pilots, not to mention your coworkers at Delta (if you actually work there) look bad. Also, as a self-proclaimed millionaire, and someone who makes over 6 figures a year, you can certainly afford it.

The fact that this even needs to be said to you (or anyone at a legacy airline) is disappointing and frustrating.

Also another reason why I don’t tip: I closed my bank account and do not carry ones

One of the biggest problems we have in this country is lack of respect. My local bank called me a couple of times for a small issue and I did not like their tone. Kind of the tone where I felt I wasn’t seen as a customer.

Walked in the next day and closed all my accounts. It was one of the best days in my life when I saw the dismay on the staff. I said “oh well, you reap what you sow.”

For those who want to do the same, I recommend a CMA with Fidelity. It’s a Cash Management Account that’s basically a checking account. You get a card and you can set up direct deposit too.

I don’t even tip at restaurants because I get everything take-out and bring it to my room and eat alone.

He's a self-proclaimed millionaire under 30 living at home and thus saving even more. Some days he feels he is a loser, but enjoys the actual flying, but is leaving the industry.
I'd say he needs to be on meds because of his bipolar disorder.... delusions of grandeur, but feelings of inadequacy. At times his trolling is pretty good, but transparent.
Must drive a Miata, but with a hybrid turbo Porsche engine.

Ah yeah you’re right. I guess trolling, much like everything else, is more believable when you mix in truth with the lies. I have no doubt that he actually is scared of people and eats dinner alone in his room.
