No, systems is right here in MSP, and we stay here until the oral exam, which for us is around Jan 5th. We started Dec 3rd, but our schedule is a little out of the norm since we have the Mondays and Tuesdays of xmas and new year's off.

Was curious how this all works...Let's say you get DTW and preferential bid for MSP...but the class after you is a 20 CRJ900 FO class and 6 go to MSP...why wouldnt you get senority over them in going to Minni...

What are some other routes besides the ones listed on APC for CRJ900 out of DTW & MEM

You would in that case, those new hires might have MSP next to their name initially but it wouldn't last long.

Now... if you are talking specifically about this last bid award then, sorry to say, they revised it on you...the MSP vacancies disappeared.

You can call someone in HR and see if there is another class available before your class starts, but that should be done ASAP, once you're on an aircraft you are seat locked for 24 months.

FO's are allowed to bid to another FO position only if they have been in the seat for 3 years AND have not had the opportunity to upgrade. Otherwise no changine aircraft as an FO.

I beleive there is a 36 month seat lock unless you upgrade for FOs, last bid package had 39 people for the 200 with 13 bidding. IMHO great plane to fly (apu is nice this time a year and SJS) but the lines suck and wont get better until we get more planes (you will make more money on the saab, more hours and better efficientcy), training is backed up and you probably wont fly until next summer and you will fly with very senior captains which has its pros and cons and finally you will be upgrading to a Saab which means new seat, new airplane, and different type of flying. Dont know if you can switch though
