I honestly am not trying to start anything. But if thats true it's rediculous. I made some friends with Comair pilots in my interview.

Just curious if something so childish is true? or b.s.
Im happy to be interviewing at XJ this month and have no desire to return to comair anytime soon. The "old timers" are pretty good guys but can be real sour and most of the junior guys are just emulating what they see(also not always the best job to have but at least it was a job). It sucks and I hope that it dosent carry over.

Is this what you are talking about??

As of 12/1/08, here's a sampling of the pay.

FO pay for all fleets

0-1 $24.20
1-2 $29.02
2-3 $31.86
3-4 $34.70
4-5 $35.74
the scale goes up to 8 years

Saab CA pay

0-1 $44.44
4-5 $51.64

CRJ200 CA pay

0-1 $56.97
4-5 $64.12

CRJ900 CA pay

0-1 $60.99
4-5 $68.64

This December 31, we'll also see our uniform allowances incrementally return starting with a $50 check. Each year we'll get some of it back until we're topped up at $235. Remember where our pay comes from... our 2004 contract and that bankruptcy really only touched our pay and a few other things, some of which we've already gotten back. All our work rules stayed and that's where the value of the money comes in. Soft money as you know.

Well I hope you have no desire to return to Comair at all, well at least at your current seniority. This is because in day one of ground school you sign and turn in a letter stating that you give up your # at your previous airline....

Take it easy. He sounds like he has a good attitude coming here.

Teamdothis: Welcome and good luck at the interview! Hope to see you soon in the crewroom soon.

Gladly. I was in the first 86 and they way things are going with more pilots about to hit the street, i dont think my # matters that much.

Wait, wait. My comment was in no way meant to be negative. I was just trying to be informative in a clever way. Perhaps my words may have not been worded as good as they could have.

I too wish you good luck because this company is great and I couldn't be happier....

Well I must say the attitude and professionalism of the pilots at this company are so refreshing. This seems like a great place to work...March 2nd class can't come soon enough! Looking forward to seeing you all in the crew room.
