As long as the date of your degree completion matches the transcript /diploma.

In the case of degree requirements complete but diploma not in hand, I personally would let that slide, but there are some people in pilot hiring who might be more anal.
People in hiring who likes anal ? What company is this ??

I'd wait until I had the means of proving I had the degree.

if the app asks "do you have a degree" you have it, or you do not have it

it does not ask "do you have transcripts" or "is a degee soon to be issued"

you have it, or you do not have it

Transcripts is what proves you have the degree, not the diploma lol

It is the date the degree is conferred.

this can vary by university

If the transcript actually says the degree is complete, sure.

If it's just a list of classes completed, that doesn't count until the school analyzes it all and adjudicates in writing that you meet the degree requirements.

More than a few presumptive "grads" have had to return for a summer or fall session because they missed a requirement somewhere along the line.
