As far as I'm concerned, you XJT guys and gals can have the IAH flying. I just finished a four-day down there, and it was an absolute cluster. The only experience in my lifetime I could compare it to is UAX flying at IAD.

Oh man this is getting good, ops freq. was tight up for about 5 minutes because our friendly CRJ regional didn't want to comply with the instructions from ops. Real professional guys! Start an argument on freq. during peak time at IAH.
Here's some facts for you girls, since ya'll were throwing stats around:
XJT operates an average of 36,000 flights for CAL on a monthly basis, our controllable completion factor is
99.8%
A CRJ200 cannot replace a ERJ145XR on range and payload, hence the denied boardings averaging $70K a month at GSO, SDF, MSP, COS (which went back to XJT), STL, the list goes on and on.
CAL wanted to diversified as stated by both Larry and Jeff, and that is the reason why the 69 aircraft were release.
Facts nothing but facts, I can't wait to hear the excuses!!!

Our completion and punctuality rates for United as United Express were the best of all the UAX carriers. Yet they said we were too expensive. I wonder how much they are now saving by having deal with all the irate passengers who now have to deal with cancelled Mesa flights?
Anyway, cost (or appearance of cost really) is how this business runs. Quality is more or less meaningless.
