So when is this "tracking tool" that they say coming out to see where you really stand? Anyone heard anything?

A couple guys have all the time requirements and they are starting to get emails there transition to United starts December 2025. What a flow ! After your done with all your time they make you wait 2 years 😂

What precisely is your expectation? It’s a new program being implemented as of march this year everyone got invited. That’s what, 2000 people? No one really knows how many were already in the front of the line. Let’s take what I would estimate a very conservative number and say 10% of the pilot group.

So, 10%, plus let’s say another 300 that are yet to be at any of the airlines accepted at an earlier point in the program. Ie they’re at the flight academy. So, 10 percent are actively working on their mind and ahead of the entire pilot group that was given a slot for the “flow.” The rest of the pilot group is “flowing” at roughly 25% a year? So, someone who has completed their requirements, which would be 2000’ or potentially 1000’ pic because they don’t have a degree and they’re just now told 2.5 years from the beginning of the program they have a job at united.

2.5 years means they in the lower 50% of the seniority at the airline already. If they just finished their hours requirement then they’ve been flying for about 3 years if they haven’t upgraded and got paused during Covid. I know because that’s roughly what I’m at and that’s what happened to me.

So, let’s recap. There’s no requirement to interview, you’ve got a job at united at roughly the 5.5 year mark? And are completely welcome to pursue other avenues of employment at any other airline while you wait for the united job. United doesn’t require an upgrade to get there, unless you don’t have a degree, and you’re making 100k+ a year with a decent schedule at right around 70% seniority at your current airline. That’s really not a bad QOL. Especially when you consider you’re perfectly okay to interview at other places if they want to grab you. Just go pass an interview that has almost no pressure knowing you already have a job at united in 2.5 years.

The program is not what it used to be.Changes by the day. It could be 6 years now and become 10 years and additional requirements later on. They will probably do that after they hire everyone from ENVOY,PSA,PIEDMONT,SPIRIT and JETBLUE. The best flow to United is to work for a AA regional for 2 years 1000 turbine and your IN !

Definitely agree.

I was more referring to people already flying for a UAX carrier. It’s not a bad position to be in.
