No more published mins for Pinnacle

Its amazing that you just got on pinnacle property like less than a month ago and you seem to konw everything about how a contract works. I would be willing to bet that you know nothing about the current contract that you are working under. And by the way nwa is pulling those aircraft, and just so you know for every aircraft that you guys add to do flying for another air carrier, nwa can and will pull one of your crj's away, so you probably wont be seeing any net gain. Maybe MAIR will buy you and then you can really have fun...By the way stop blocking the alley's in DTW or anywhere else for that matter.

Take a look at the ASA:"Northwest may remove one aircraft for every two aircraft that Pinnacle operates for another partner above an initial base of 20 regional jets. Northwest may remove no more than 20 aircraft subject to this option and no more than five aircraft in any 12-month period."
Yeah because you guys don't do it pushing off the "C" gates, or trying to come in the back way with those 900's

nwa is not removing any aircraft from the fleet, the sept schedules are out, the fleet size is published, aircraft bases and locations are all out, and everyplane is accounted for. supposed to start pulling in sept right? not happening. if we don't fly them becuase of lack of staff we pay penalties to nwa. if you dont fly them because of a lack of staff,, well then nwa just loses out and gets nothing and the planes aren't flying.
I guess you also don't know what you're talking about. It's not 1 airplane we get NWA will pull 1. It's 2 airplane we get NWA can pull 1, and if I read it right, they can't even start pulling airplane (because of the 900's from Delta) until we get at least 20 airplanes.
Take a look at the ASA:
"Northwest may remove one aircraft for every two aircraft that Pinnacle operates for another partner above an initial base of 20 regional jets. Northwest may remove no more than 20 aircraft subject to this option and no more than five aircraft in any 12-month period."

there will be a net gain in planes, on the numbers i have seen i figure we will have 172 planes on property (delta and nwa) by the end of next year.

pinnacle will be flying 900's for delta out of atl, scl, and lax. they didn't sign a 10 year agreement with us to just fly 17 planes out of atlanta. there are more planes coming and they will be divided among the three bases.

Geez... I leave this thread for just a few days and it gets all heated! Airsupport cleared up the air on the contract and ASA. The mins are low, just like everywhere else. This is not a new event. The contract issue is still here and will be until mgmt sees it in THEIR best interests to get something accomplished. My hope and estimate is by Feb 08- I think the DAL flying starting in Dec will force mgmt to come to the table and play ball. The entire pilot group (including myself) has frustrations- mainly over the contract issues and flying more than we all would like. I love to fly but 95+ block hours a month is getting a bit old. This "pref-bid" PNCL now uses makes us really efficient to the company, but not efficient in our own personal lives. I have now dwindled down to NO weekends off and only 11 days off! I was holding at least half the weekends, 2-day trips, and more days off. If you want the fast upgrade and a bunch of hours in a hurry with a great group of guys then this is a great place. A career regional- FORGET IT! The contract Will come- its inevitable, but when/what is still up for debate. The pilot group is united, angered, and ready for some job action. The mins are low because its an entry level job- accept that. Majors, fractionals, corporate/charter gigs, and the cargo operators keep hiring our CA's and in some cases our FO's. New hire classes are still going on and the 250 or sub 500 pilot is not the norm, just as the 2500TT/25 year old NH at a major is not the norm- but it happens. If you don't like it then don't apply, don't jumpseat on 9E, and don't buy a ticket on a "airlink" operated flight. There is always a solution to a problem, but complaining and trash talk gets nothing but more problems... Let me know a solution besides a contract and I will "pass it on".

Airsupport,
I'm not sure about that Delta flying. I thought the contract was for 17 900s with maybe 8 more. While it's true Delta wants more 900's, I thought they could spread the next 30 to whoever they want (Skywest?). Do you know different, or are you just really hoping that Delta picks Pinnacle to do more of the 900 work?

Forget about any delta connection carrier trying to improve working conditions or increase pay rates! They will just move flying around between all of the carriers.
Where was the leadership when we all needed it?
