Hey Andy, I would accept it. The worst thing you do if you are hired is decline the job.

....Also I'm happy the Vage is gone, he has done nothing for Comair and is a failure in the airline industry. Now he can go home!!!!!!

I stopped caring a lot time ago for this place. I really don't care if we have a new puppet send by Delta, we will still see more displacements and furloughs. And I agree with Boomer. The new puppet won't be doing anything for a while, especially before the holidays.

GAAAAH
Take the interview. I interviewed with them a year ago for a street captain position and in my opinion they seemed like a great company. Kinda like Comair did in 2003.

If you get the job and a class date, then you can decide. Do I sit at home waiting for Comair to wake up from the coma? Or do I start over at Mesaba, the company to be at? If there's merger news or Mesa flatlines in the meantime, that's just more info for your decision.

If my family didn't have 5 years worth of roots in CVG I'd be at Mesaba in a heartbeat. But that's just my two cents.

It's got some significant pros and cons. In my opinion the pros are known and the cons depend entirely on Delta and newguy4.

Watch DS pull the shades over this guys eyes. DS is going to have open access to this guy and he is going to do the same to this guy as he did with the Vag. Maybe the VAg-Initis is actually DS.

Each new guy tries to make an impression to Delta by cutting costs. Union friendly? Doubt it. If anything, this guy will tell us that our contract needs to match that of our competitors, Mesaba and Compass. Since he has first hand experience with Compass, the Whipsaw will be all that much easier for Delta and the New Guy.

The question that's missing from his FAQ sheet:

Q: Where do you hope to see Comair one year from now?

A: In my rear view mirror, baby!

Just learned some interesting. This guys was in charge of the NWA mech when they went on strike. He was a Mech that became Management. He was the one directly in charge of the situation. He prepared for a strike be hiring replacement workers and as soon as the NWA Mech went on strike in comes Bendoraitis to save the day with replacement workers.

I can guarentee he will not work with the unions.

I'd like to see ALPA put some bite behind their "No Confidence in Soap" letter and work directly with newguy4. Don't answer any ds calls or e-mails, just forward them to ng4 with a note saying:

Hi, this has come to our attention. What would you like us to do about it? Anxiously awaiting your feedback.

Signed,
The Union.

If ng4 realizes the unions are done working with ds maybe he'll step up. Or at least not be bamboozled by F/O soap.
