No problems with my MBP. In fact, you should consider getting an airport express, Apple - AirPort Express It's a neat little wireless box that will convert your ethernet-only hotel room into a little wireless hotspot, un-tethering you from the cable. I got a refurbished one for cheap on the apple site.

Another great program is LogTenPro, a Mac pilot logbook. It's available for the iPhone as well. Been working great for me. Your iPhone will sync wirelessly with the main program. It's from coradine.com

Don't forget to use your DL discount on the sparkfly website!

From what i just gathered, Mesa outcome has absolutely no relevance in Comairs future. Apparently with the merger and flow throughs with Mesaba and Compass, the new contracts and language prohibit any growth to the wholly owned unless there is a flow through agreement and some other language. Since our agreement has no provisions Comair pretty much is prohibited from any growth hence the reason the last 900 went to Mesaba. Keep in mind this is the bare bones of this and i have no other details as this is Attorney cr@p, but you get the jest. Not to spread more gloom but do not count out yet another displacement in the near future....I'm batting 1000 on my info from source so I am hoping I am WRONG on this one. Good luck to everyone on their respective transitions including myself.

on the displacement bid it said 86 furloughs. We were a little heavy on captains after the last round of furloughs so im still expecting 86. I hope im right anyway.

last i heart was 86..but with 70 downgrades on this new displacement bid..the general rule of thumb is double the amount for furloughs.

I'm not sure if any of these captains were previously "awarded" a downgrade (a la old news)...i doubt it though.

Another interesting note..remember that rumor about comair cutting to 1000 pilots?

Everyone notice who the most senior FO is going to be? He's number 500.....

Wow... I can honestly say that I really think Delta is planning on shrinking Comair to the point that it will either cease to exist or be a very small operation.

At a quick glance...

Seniority to hold:

JFK 50 Captain - December 2000 hire (8 years)
CVG 70 Captain - November 1999 hire (9 years)
CVG 50 Captain - August 1999 hire (9 years)

CVG 70 FO - May 2005 hire (3.5 years)
CRJ 50 FO - TBD (more furloughs for Christmas!)
JFK 50 FO - Jan 2007 hire (Is that right? 2 years seniority to hold JF'nK!?!)

Two other items of note...

38 Captains are displaced to the 70 right seat.
50 FOs are displaced off the bottom of the 70 right seat.
So... If you're a 70 FO, you just got about 33% more junior.

CR7 FOs going to CVG CRJ FO - 40
JFK FOs going to CVG CRJ FO - 50
Captains going to CVG CRJ FO - 17
CVG CRJ FOs displaced in this bid - 0
Total new CVG CRJ FOs = 107
Hmm... I wonder why we need 107 additional CRJ FOs in CVG?
