with no Comair ID or SIDA badges you cannot pick up open time. Scheduling may be stupid enough to give you the trip, but flying it would be impossible

I think he is just kidding about picking up open time. You cannot pickup open time on emaestro, you can just look at it.

I can still log in. I click the button in emaestro to confirm no changes in my schedule just for fun. I had a message to call scheduling a couple weeks ago, but I just deleted it.

Interesting. Not sure what they mean by "decision maker." Like NG4 was telling the maintenance guys there is plenty of room in the GO for more players. Maybe Comair keeps CVG as a small base and also a MTC base with offices. Kind of like a glorified LEX. Or Comair, Compass and Mesaba would be on one operating certificate and CVG would be the MTC base for the all of them. Don't forget about that nice hanger Mesaba already has in Cincy.

From copy on EPIC of news article on Minneapolis info:

"During recent negotiations, Delta General Counsel BenHirst agreed to transfer regional airline executives, who now overseeDelta Connection operations, from Atlanta to the Twin Cities. Inaddition, Virginia-based Compass Airlines, a Northwest subsidiary thatflies 76-seat regional jets, will move its headquarters to the TwinCities.
About 150 to 200 people are expected to work in the TwinCities to lead Delta's regional carrier operations, said Tammy LeeStanoch, Delta's vice president of corporate affairs. "That's asignificant win for the state of Minnesota," she said.
Stanoch added that the regional executives will join otherairline executives in a renovated facility at Minneapolis-St. PaulInternational Airport called "Delta North." "
