When did your family stop believing you? My family stopped believing me 2 years and 3 CEOs ago.

TD, I wish you paid my salary. Like many union positions, my time is gratis. I do it for my own satisfaction, and the hope that perhaps it benefits my fellow pilots.

So, do you still have a legit reason to gripe?

Funny you should that. I remember after about 1 year here I was on A1 working the holidays and telling my father how much it sucked! He is a pilot himself and worked at Comair over 10 years ago. I remember him saying "Don't worry because as you build seniority it will only get better!" Now just before my third Christmas here I'm back on short call reserve and of course working Christmas! Just thought it was funny how much this industry sucks.

Ok, sorry. Maybe you do our union work on your own time. That is your choice. However, I know that not everyone works on their own time and therefor is paid out of union dues. I appreciate what you are doing and yes, I do pay my dues therefor I have a right to gripe.

with no Comair ID or SIDA badges you cannot pick up open time. Scheduling may be stupid enough to give you the trip, but flying it would be impossible

I think he is just kidding about picking up open time. You cannot pickup open time on emaestro, you can just look at it.
