They've always gotten me in within a week or so. I always wind up going on Tuesdays, but they're open a couple other days each week for Flight Physicals.
Of course, might be tuff the week of Christmas. I tried to get in during Christmas week last year so I could go to my Mesaba Street Captain interview with a fresh 1st class (not the second, extra six month FO part), but they couldn't get me in. Mesaba hired me anyway, then I faxed them the medical when I got it done in January. The folks at Mesaba and Dr. Villegas are really cool.
I think the 47.5% completion is to celebrate the one month anniversary of our newer CEO, ng4.
I truely believe, down in the cockles of my heart, that history will reveal that the only person who never got to be a CEO at Comair was... 2PAC.

How do you guys feel about the resignation of our MEC Chair? Is it a step in the right direction? I feel that the Comair MEC has done nothing to help this pilot group. It still amazes me that they pulled ASAP out.

ASAP is supposed to be a joint venture between the union the company and FAA investigators to get pilots to report accidental incidents without fear of repercussion. The company didn't hold up their end of the agreement

Nowhere in the MOU did it state that the company couldn't punish you for a non-sole source incident. The ASAP program isn't a get out of jail free card.
[quote=CRJDriver;522180]Someone told me they will take care of the paperwork, but $20 is pretty cheap then. Do you know if it is pretty easy to get in right away for an appointment?
Yeah, his staff is extremely accommodating for flight crew. I called them in a panic on the 25th of July, and they made me an appointment for the 28th. Yes, they take care of all the paperwork for the insurance. I think maybe 3-4 papers to sign. Good guy....

If you let them know that you have an appointment pending for a medical before the end of the month, they will not NQ you. (This is of course, if you are trying to stay of the NQ list) With Christmas coming and all, I myself could see how one could perhaps let themselves get the holidays off due to company policy.
