For you new guys that aren't furloughed yet...

A couple years ago a rampie was killed in DTW when he was crushed between a beltloader and a Comair CRJ. Day VFR.

Watch yourselves on the walkaround.

No joke...Can't tell you how many times I've seen rampers swing those things around aircraft while looking elsewhere...Eyes and ears on the ramp, folks...

Anyone have a chance to listen to NG4's severance package message they are about to offer to regular employees?

It's Sunday and might I add bone chilling cold with the windchill in CVG. These poor ramp guys. I was miserable doing a walk around let alone working outside in it all night. They are really short staffed everywhere. Hard to believe so many delays could even take place late on a Sunday night. Nobody left to work the ramp, no FAs to call in and no reserves on the pilots side.

Hey, maybe we should furlough more people....... Yeah that was a bright idea.

They know if they offered a good one, that all of our pilots would take it.
