Comair updates?
The "senior guys" don't really care, and I don't think they will feel any heat... They'll just keep whining about emaestro or line values and if those were all the way they wanted they would complain about something...
I can blanketly and very definitively say that they are all whiners and will complain about something...

A lot of senior guys are gonna get displaced. MX is already planning on going down to 50. From what I've been getting is when we went into Ch.11 with Delta; when they renegotiated the aircraft leases, Delta was able to get an early out clause if they needed to return aircraft before the leases were up, hence why we've been returning newer a/c with more expensive leases. Since they are considered "scheduled" lease returns, they can't be challanged by the side letter agreement on the contract.
Oh they'll feel it when we get down to fifty 50 seaters by the end of the year!

I agree Bubba. And the 1.5% is just what they have on the books right now. Let's see what's on the books when they redo the books in the summer as they said they will do. How many times have the staffing levels in 2008 had to be redone?
If I read the side letter agreement correctly, the 50 seat fleet size can not go below 90% of what the size was at during February 2007. The only way the fleet can go below 90% is for "scheduled" lease returns during the period of the contract. We are at the minimum level for 70 seaters which is 15 and of course we didn't have or forcast for 76 seaters when you guys signed the contract.

Super, I guess Mesaba will be a blessing since a recall with Comair isn't going to happen.
