anyone know what "PI" or "OF" mean? the captains bid packet has a lot less folks on reserve, but I haven't seen the PI/OF codes before.

Ya, my next debate was going to address that very issue. FA's will now be hand picked by a panel of captains and FO's during the interview process.

p1ayn, I will need you to head my flight attendant selection committee.

For some reason I thought scope was more than the number of seats an aircraft has....

Can anyone confirm if this number is close to accurate?
Might be that 60% of the FLIGHTS are regional - but I bet the % of PASSENGERS carried is far, far, lower...

OF = Office (ie. Chief Pilot, Sim Instructor, Sim Check Airman)

PI = HR (think "Pilot Interviews", of which we have none going on right now)

We are overstaffed on FOs in every category, especially on the 70/90 now. Not enough flying to go around, so lots of FOs end up on reserve.
