I'm running for the next CEO position. As you are all too aware, the airline industry is going through difficult times. If you vote for me in November, I will increase pay, eliminate reduced rest overnights, construct more productive trips and diversify our flying.

Captain I was flying with said that regionals fly about 60-65% of all DL's domestic flying.
Curious as to why the main line guys would let that happen? I know the big focus is on international but someone has to get people to the ATL, JFK, CVG, LAX, ect.....
For some reason I thought scope was more than the number of seats an aircraft has....
Can anyone confirm if this number is close to accurate?

We are overstaffed on FOs in every category, especially on the 70/90 now. Not enough flying to go around, so lots of FOs end up on reserve.
