did the LGA-SAV RDU thing happen last night. I was in RDU this morning and ops was going on and on about some medical diversion there last night. Somehow it was still effecting their terrible performance today.
My nomination for top 5 worse stations in the system.
1. BWI
2. PHL
3. JFK
4. RDU
5. ATL
Anything in common?? All DGS or Contracted out.

Ain't that the damn truth. Stations being contracted out(including DL mainline stations) normally take a negative tole on Comair's performance(delays, a/c damages, etc). Sad thing is stations that Comair operate are scrutinized to the balls on performance. What do Comair do you ask? CLOSE MORE STATIONS!!!!!

For you guys that are wondering what is going on and what is going to happen to Comair, stop posting your questions on this forum. You will not get an answer. Or you will get the wrong answer. Send an email to the new president, he will email you back. His email is on epic in the employee directory. You will get better answers from him.
I'm keeping my expectations low.

my buddy was the FO on this flight. apparently this guy got wasted, lit up a cig in the lav, set off the smoke detector, dropped the cig in the trash can and caused more smoke. then he steps out of the lav, followed by a cloud of smoke, and a passenger says "hey good job dumb a** now we have to go to RDU cause of you". then the drunk smoker starts talking trash to the wrong person, ends up hitting a flight attendant, and the rest is history.
that being said i've been drinking and that's as best as i can remember the story. cheers.

I just got mine. It's only to let you know about the change in policy for the uniform balance and pass benefits for furloughed pilots. Nothing new.

There's a F/A on F.I. that is saying that Comair(Delta) plans to reduce the fleet to 80 A/C on property next year. Anyone hear that? It's on the Comair rumor thread started by Tiffany Taylor, I wonder if she's hot?

I heard that from a captain a few months ago, who said he heard it from SB in recurrent. It's one of those slower moving rumors.
