so that would make right around 800 ish pilots total. so an additional 470 furloughs? shrinkair is sounding more like the correct name for this place if that comes true??

Its hot sounding because of the porn-star style of alliterating trailer park names.

And there are a handful of hot FAs here. I just never fly with them.

Anyone talk to the new prez yet? (via email or otherwise) I'm sure he's busy settling in, but I heard from the compass guys he is pretty good about answering emails and being straight with people. Make him earn his paycheck and get some answers from him.

What do you guys expect him to say? "Yes, we plan on going out of business end of 2009, but shhhh! It's a secret! So keep coming to work and we'll keep the status quo."

If he even answers, it'll be the basic "I understand your concerns, but our cost structure puts us at a disadvantage and we need to reduce costs our Delta won't look favorably upon us."
