Comair updates?
'08 hires aren't back yet. Recalls only went half way through 2007 last year.... or is it available to those who are currently furloughed too?? lol... I might take it if that's the case!
Hope that's not the case.... According to the memo that came out in regards to the early out package it states that all seperations will occur between January and December of 2012, it also states that no involuntary furloughs will occur until all seperations have occured. So the way I read that is no furloughs at all next year, or at least until all early out peeps have left. I may be off base here, but that's how in interperted the memo. Any thoughts?
Yeah, that's what I thought...that all pilots that are not STILL furloughed are able to take the early out. Heck, I didn't even know that the numbers went back to 29500!
Ya, I don't get it. I have a 28xxx employee number and have been furloughed continuously since 2008. Does that mean I'm eligible??.... I guess I'll have to look on Epic at the list... I'll have to wait till I can get a hold of a PC.... for some reason Epic attachments don't play nice on my Mac.
Nevermind the above, for those who need more info, check your email from ALPA. Looks like 55 pilots who have been on continuous furlough are eligible. I'm seriously considering taking this, might be a good deal, since I'll never be back anyway.
My question: Is "completed years of service" based on date of hire through furlough date or DOH through 12/21/2012? It's not really clear. Common sense says DOH through furlough.
Greater common sense says "Why pay furloughed pilots anything?"
Also, are the flight benefits the same S3CR as on furlough? No clear answer there either.
