I took it in 2009 and it turned out to be about 6.5K after they taxed it as a bonus. 20K for a junior guy. Would be nice, but I wouldn't count on it.

Why would Comair offer "junior guys" anything? They could just furlough them.
Just wondering why anyone would expect them to offer that.
Jump off that ship (OH), before you drown!

Usually early out programs are offered to the most expensive employees “Senior Employees” to be cost effective. The most junior employees will be furloughed. Why would Comair offer any early out programs to the least expensive labor when they can just furlough.

I was thinking that if they offered an early outbto junior guys they can then downgrade more captains and potentially save on their unemployment insurance. But it all depends how they run those numbers.

Besides being junior at Comair is really junior to the rest of the industry.

My $.02

New seniority list is out - 12.5% attrition since January.

Roughly 930 pilots on property (for now).

Wow when I got hired I was just above 1800, when I left after six yrs was 890. Thats good attrition, only problem my relative seniority barely changed there.

Just took a peek at the training and transfer sked, is the 5191 FO back? I saw his name on there from DRF to C7F.

On another note, being furloughed for what seems like forever, I just looked at the SN list for the first time in years, I can't believe how few CRC/F crews are left.... only a handful. It's a real shame to see that. Good luck to everyone left.

There is no CVG 50 base. All the 50 crew are based in DTW now.

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe he was finally displaced out of the JFK base to clean up the list?
