I sure the entire pilot group would feel terrible for him...

I spoke to Piper the other day and he said additional colas and furloughs past Feb is very likely. He said the company is still looking at furlough mitigation though. I'm sure our union mec will blow it off.

It must be the letter of no confidence that did it or it might the No Soap sticker! I hope you are correct about the purpose of the meeting. Soap needs to go and we need to move in the right direction at this company.

I also got paid a little over half of what I should have been paid. Of course, it's a Saturday, and the GO is a ghost town these days so it'll take days before I speak to a human being that will tell me "oh, that's not my job."

If anyone knows whats up, let us know.

Btw, to those of you on furlough. Are you aware SkyWest IS accepting resumes, even though they are not interviewing yet?. Go to the "SkyWest hiring" forum and look at my posting there.

So where do you think SB falls into this. How great would it be if both DS and SB were let go?

You get paid for half of what you're guaranteed. It seems right to me...you're only working a little over 1/2 the month. So let's pro rate it, for 17 days, instead of 37.5...they gave you 45.6 hours projected for the month (from the 1st -17th or whenever the furlough date is).

So 22.8 is 1/2 of 45.6, and you'll get the other half during clean up on 2/15.

That's my guess.

Hey....if anyone wants their vacation paid out...you have to go speak with Gretchen or one of the Chiefs so they can e-mail payroll....you will get it on the 2/15 check

2.5 hours/day X 18 days = 45 hours. You get paid for half of the 45 hours on the 1st. 22.5 hours.

Just listened to the latest addition of "Straight Talk" with Mr. B. Had to laugh when he talked about our poor performance for December and that it was expected because of weather. Sure we had a few bouts with mother nature, but I'd be willing to bet my March paycheck that "staffing" contributed to a majority of our delays and most likely a few cancellations.....I'm just a lowly FO, though. I don't have the big picture....
