It doesn't say much for a company if they can't account for every overhead cost that they have, regardless of what it is. If we can't keep track of our airline, then we don't deserve to be playing in the same field. IMO

Mosquito...why else would DAL spin-off half an employee group? Look at Airways -- they didn't even need to do that to cut their employee's benefits.

And in my case, my job as a gate and check-in agent for Virgin Atlantic was being outsourced to Swissport just about the time I had planned to leave for College. What about those that I had been working with? Well they were offered jobs with Swissport (a 50%+ paycut and dissolution of all benefits, by the way). How nice.

DAL is not being a friend to anyone here. Watch it happen.

Don't get me wrong, Of course they will lose their benefits (i.e pay, work rules, and Medical). But the reason i I post that is because i do not see them going to S3B or S3C status as a wholly own. Then if that happens it it's going to happen to us at Comair. I know they raised the prices up to non-rev for ASA, Skywest, etc... And we still pay the $50 to travel. But like you said things could change.

bid syntax is 2l 1l 7a 6a 5a 4a 3a 2a 1a numbers before letters I don't know why they didn't reverse it but 2l will work Turbo

From what I was told, THE money making part of Comair was the G/S side. Yes, I know the company made a profit this last qtr, but they are still saying Pilot cost are too high.

If you believe that, I got a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell ya.

Since a furlough cuts from the bottom...I can believe pilot costs are high! Comair should be creating EXCELLENT early out and voluntary programs to get rid of senior folks and make the pilot group as junior as possible
