http://www.myibid.com/iBidPage.htm

great program... allows you to search through the bid packet for specific trips you want and helps you predict your ability to hold those trips. After the bids are published it allows you to see if trips you wanted were assigned junior to you so you can adjust your bid next month. It can also predict which trips will be in the SAW. It really works well if you are senior enough to bid for specific trips. It has drag and drop capability that allows you to make a schedule and check for legality issues. Good program...

Default Would a Line Holder pick up a RR?

I put in for a trip that was in open time on a day that I'm scheduled on. I got the old "NO SOUP FOR YOU RESERVE PUNK" reply. But I noticed about 5 RR's in open time. So I guess the only folks who can pick those up would be a reserve person on a day off or a line holder.

Am I understanding this process correctly?

line holders can actually request ready reserves from open time as well. A reserve can only request open time on his or her hard days off.

Um.. shouldn't that be a '!' after places? Maybe not...
Haha I think the question mark is quite fitting. At least they put 10-14 months on reserve, that appears to be a pretty accurate number these days for either base.

That may be industry standard in the not-so distant future.

Anybody know why new hires are pretty much getting lines now to get their 100 hours? I wish I could've had a line to get my 100 hours so I didn't deadhead 200 hours by the time I flew 100.

Hmm. I've seen a few that have trips all month long. Must just be random
