Well welcome to the 70. It'll be nice to finally get some more beneath me on the seniority list.

PS, I you figure out the TLR, let me know. Most of us are still clueless

The differences training pushed me into a line. I was surprised to see that so many people actually got lines on the 50. I was sure that all the guys that got a line this month will be back on reserve in April. Oh well, I think going to the 70/90 is still a smart move, especially since we got more flying coming. Maybe by the end of summer I'll hold a line on the 70/90.

Sad thing is, even if I would be in JFK, I wouldn't be able to hold a line. Maybe if MCO and GSO would still be open

Def not MCO. That was VERY senior base.

700/900 is a good gig. You'll make lots of money. Not just due to the higher pay rate, but more flying. I think last month I credited 104 hours. This month is looking into the mid 90s so far, with 2 more days open

Exactly! Where do you think most of the senior F/Os went when they closed down MCO? JFK! Easier commute. All these senior guys moved into JFK, pushing us down the seniority list in JFK. I think there is very little movement in JFK.

Schedule Adjustment Window

Opens 24 hours after the line awards are released and is open for 72 hours. Basically it is a window where you can adjust your schedule. Those awarded a line may request trip drops, adds, and trades on a first come first serve basis in an attempt to better their schedule. Those awarded reserve may request reserve window preference.

Clarification:
SAW is only for lineholders. Reserves cannot do anything except see open time

As for the ORD/CLE commute question: I'd have to guess that ORD is easier, strictly due to higher flight frequency (United, Skywest, Comair, Freedom, GoJet, A. Eagle)

I commute through ORD all the time (gotta love the 2 leg commute). Extremely easy commute..especially if commuting to LGA is an option for you. Both American and United have hourly flights ORD-LGA.
American has 3 daily flights to JFK.
Jetblue has 5.
Comair..normally 5 depending on the day.
There are also several EWR flights if you're really desperate..

Only time I've ever not been able to get on a flight ORD-NYC was on Comair...I don't even try Comair anymore for the commute.
