I left CMR in '06 for FedEx. Not applying for work anywhere else LOL but still some paperwork unrelated to FEX. Flying at CMR was great and allowed me to interview current. Sad to read about the continuing troubles there. People are great though
Thanks

Anyone has any new rumors out there, good or bad?
You know after thinking about it, I really wouldn't have minded subsidiary employees as S3A's, but instead we're behind joe bob at DL's parent who are retired and have all the time in the world to get where they need to go as well as those who are DL retirees. I wonder how Ng4 will spin the new rules in his message?
That's the one thing I found hard to swallow in this too.... Under the old system and the 1 time (4 legs) on Delta under the fly together program, I have managed to get on the requested flights with my wife. But it's been getting harder. Getting home from Vegas recently only happened because 2 people decided to hang out in the bar and at about 4 minutes prior to push the gate agent got tired of continually making "last call" announcements and put us in thier seats. I get the feeling that after this, we (or at least she) is going to have to just buy a ticket and I'll be joining the pilots.....
Directly attributed to this news of increased flying and aircraft aquisition, Comair will be recalling all of it's furloughed pilots and flight attendants, as well as hiring 6000 new pilots and flight attendants throughout the remainder of 2009 and into 2010.

I heard a rumor that Delta was retiring the MD88 and will replace those flights with all Comair 900's, and they ordered Comair 150 brand new CRJ900's. Since all the 900's will be used on MD88 routes now, Delta has ordered 75 Emb-175's for Comair to fly on their old CRJ 700/900 routes. The 700's will be used on high load CRJ 200 routes, and the CRJ 200's will be used on the other routes. Also, Comair will be adding 50 new cities, mostly in the Caribbean, Florida, and Mexico. Due to the increase in southern flying, Comair has decided to re-re-open it's MCO base, along with an all new base somewhere in the US Virgin Islands. Delta will cease to have a hub in CVG, instead it will place a new hub at KDAL to directly compete with SWA at that airport. Announcements are forthcoming as to who the new President of Comair will be, once the one year term of the current President is over.
