If DL somehow does cancel Freedom's contract, it'll only be the reduction in 50 seaters they are looking for. So the good thing might be that Comair will not lose too many other hours. At the same time, get ready for more shifts in flying. (as if we're not use to that already)

Based on NG5? they're not going to recall anyone unless there's a dramatic increase in our flying. They don't want to spend the money to get us furloughs retrained. Comair just wants to be short staffed always.

Actually, the Freedom flying is CVG based, so if Delta shifts Comair flying to cover Freedom they will have to shift Comair to CVG. That means hundreds of displaced JFK commuters will have to start driving to work again.

Come to think of it, wasn't CVG the main Comair hub when Freedom joined the DCI party back in 2005?

Yep. Everyone else, get your stuff in at Eagle! NG5 says no more recalls huh? What does that tell you? With Delta PULLING OUT OF CVG (YES ITS' TRUE JUST ASK THE FORMER CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES) has they say in Cincy "It's a wrap!"

Did NG5 come out and say that recently? That there will be no more recalls in the near future or was that awhile ago. Because the aviation industry is day by day.

I did not hear NG5 say anything about no more recalls. Actually in his latest update on Epic he said that he is glad that Comair was able to recall some pilots and he will work very hard to bring everyone back.

I was going by saxmans' last post. He said NG5 said no more recalls unless a huge increase in flying. But- this is the aviation industry.

I find it funny how you always seem to have the answer to everything, and you don't even work at Comair.

Oh boy. He's on his temper tantrum again. What do I have the answer to, and when did I start coming off as a pompous jerk that knows everything?
Oh by the way, don't you like the nice blue badges Comair gave us rather than that ugly gray crap we used to have? Anything else my cretacious friend?

But if the 200's are being reduced, what Comair a/c would they put on those routes? Doesn't mainline scope hold the number of big rj's at its current level now? Seems to me that regardless of what Mesa or anyone else dumps, the rj's could not grow until mainline adds more planes to their fleet...or might they just slow the rate of getting rid of the 50-seaters?
