Comair updates?
I don't know if it was good news. The Comair fun bus (management) came by the SOCC last night for a meeting. Maint department is looking to cut an additional 15-20%. We are currently staffed for 140 aircraft and here it comes.......we're going down to 100. DCI was here for a meeting a few days ago and it was pretty much put out that all 50 seaters in the DCI system are going to be toast.
Bubba since we're going down to 100- FOR NOW- I gues pilots and F/A's with close to 10 years just got asked if they're into anal? And don't think it's you doin somebody. Sad .
How can Delta force the contract carriers to foot 100% of the fuel bill? I would have to think the contracts each carrier has with Delta specifically outlines how the fuel will be supplied/paid for. Wouldn't Delta be violating the provisions of these contracts?
On another note, when exactly is the Delta/Mesa showdown due to take place?

H-H-H-Here's a sad example of the 2009 3825-Us P-P-P-Plan:
November 30, 2008 marked the six (6) month period for the Perfect Attendance Program. In order to be qualified for the program, a Flight Attendant must maintain a reliability record that is free from any sick occurrences, unexcused absences or late arrivals for the designated periods of time. Flight Attendants who are on any type of leave of absence (outside of FML) beyond 30 days will not be eligible.

Here's the kicker:
If you believe that you have met the qualifications for 6, 9 or 12 months of perfect attendance, please complete the attached form and submit it to your supervisor or the Inflight Employee Services Coordinator to ensure that you receive your certificate and that your name is added to the drawing. Drawings will be held quarterly and will include separate drawings for each step.

So, in order to get recognized by the company, you need to fill out a form to let the company know that you deserve recognition. This just goes to show that morale problems aren't only affecting the rank and file - Management doesn't really care whether employees get recognized. They're just trying to avoid having to review everyones attendance records. Every FA should fill out the stupid form whether they think they're eligible or not, just to make Management do their jobs.
So the vage gave free pizza to Captains and now we have ng4 feeding senior FAs. Yummy.
They must have seen willflyforfood.com and thought they were being serious?
Let me guess...JFK FA's have to non-rev to CVG to have lunch with the people they don't even like...and probably in the cafeteria? Good Times!
