So let me get this straight. If I roll in at 8:00am on the 2nd and I am not tagged with anything and I'm am released to go home, I basically go home and sit the rest of my window until 3:00pm. Then if I am called with something, I would be subject to a 9 hour call out? Could the company notify me when coming back into the gate that morning of a change to a SC window for the remainder of that day? Wouldn't they have to do that the night before?

Any form of contact is considered "applying" according to the unemployment office. Even if you leave a message on the machine and they dont return your call. That is still accepted by the unemployment people. It should only take you a half hour. This is what I did and there was no problem.

Did you see how Comair will be operating some Delta Connection flights for Mesaba in April. DS put out a memo to the pilot group that this will be temporary and that it will not be any type of increase in our flying.
Ladies and Gentlemen, why would we be doing this. DS says the only changes will be some minor procedural changes for our crews.
