So you're not on reserve until March 2nd, and since you're off that day you'll finish your C/I trip and be done until the 3rd.

If it was any other month, I think that would be a double DSL and thus illegal. Not sure though.
I actually looked at it wrong. My trip ends on March 2nd and that is the day that they have me on an LC1 window after my trip ends and I am off on the 3rd. I get in at 7 something in the morning and was scheduled to release near 8:00, but now I have an LC1 window on there that starts at 5:00 am. So is my report time 5:50am as it was previously awarded, or is it now 5:00 am? Looks like Double DSL to me.

Sounds like double DSL to me, have an ALPA scheduling rep take a look at it to officially affirm.

Does anyone remember what site was used to submit your applications to the airlines? I need to apply to 12 places to keep my unemployment. I figure I can find 12 major airlines to apply to.

Try AirlineApps... that should fulfill 11 of your apps quota.

Unfortunately from what I have seen in the past you are officially on reserve beginning the 2nd which means you must adhere to you're reserve window. As far as you're report it is still 550 because you were pre-notified. You are now taggable for an easy out and back that day and if the 3rd is a soft day off you are also eligible to have that day moved and an overnight assigned (although highly unlikely.) Good luck and welcome to the world of reserve!!!

Gotcha. I was just looking through the contract and the part that I was unsure of was talking about two duty periods in one day and that the subsequent duty period must not start in domicile. I guess you are saying that the duty period actually starts that morning at 5:00am. I guess that makes sense, but I think it's a load of crap how before my actual awarded line as a line holder is over(the 2nd) I am actually on reserve. So I am a lineholder and a reservist at the same time. Nice!

Remember when you were a kid and you would be losing in a Chess game or something like that? You would make up a move that only you were allowed to do and if your friend pitched a fit, you would just grab your toys and go home. That is very similar to the way that this company works. They get to make up the rules as they go along.

So let me get this straight. If I roll in at 8:00am on the 2nd and I am not tagged with anything and I'm am released to go home, I basically go home and sit the rest of my window until 3:00pm. Then if I am called with something, I would be subject to a 9 hour call out? Could the company notify me when coming back into the gate that morning of a change to a SC window for the remainder of that day? Wouldn't they have to do that the night before?
