Comair updates?
When I view this thread, I always show another page after the one I'm on. When I click on the next page number, It goes to the same page I'm on.
Anyone else have this problem?
All other pages I view on this site and others are normal.

It might have something to do with mod adjustments..like deleted posts or what not..i've had the same problem show up on a few different threads too.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up......
As you already know RHS (RH MESS) is going too be the new ground services company from Comair, Mesaba and Compass. I asked one manager what he thought about that. Aside from the usaul yadda yadda yadda, we got on the subject of the pilots and flight attendants.
he said......
(I guess you all's contract is coming up soon.) EXPECT Comair /Delta to offer you guys a contract that THEY consider to be fair or has it put it in line with other DCI carriers. He said that the PILOT & F/A COST ARE STILL TOO HIGH. This offer will be a take it or leave it type deal. If you decline as they expect you to, Comair will be FURLOUGHED out of existence. Looks like anyone who had the preminition as to why BENDO was truly here, there you go.
The manager that told me this was ****ed, he was a Manager in C/S, and was told he would have to reapply for his job, except Northwest wants thier people in his department and more than likely he would not be offered his position back - that's about 98% of the managers. If anyone cares and like you/I really can, I would suggest moving on.

I can totally see this and here is how/why Delta will get what they want. In the prior contract negotiations we were dealing with a different economy. With the way the economy is now, Delta KNOWS that they have us by the balls. The new contract will definitely be less than what we have now. We basically don't have any bargaining power under this economy. If the pilot threaten a strike(which they won't), Delta will just laugh at them. They are already prepared to shut the doors via furlough, so the threat of a Strike would almost be better for Delta because they would be able to say that the Comair pilots would be the reason for the death of the company, not Delta. Negative press for Comair (wouldn't exist anymore) and not Delta.
The contract is amendable in 2011, right? and you think it'll take, what, a week to negotiate? whereas ASA took almost 5 years to get a new deal.
here's a newsflash - they could furlough us out of existence NOW. unlike every other DCI carrier, Comair doesn't have a contract saying that we must fly XXX hours per month. (Amend that, not sure what deals Mesaba/Compass have, either). we're like DAL's hydraulic accumulator - if they need to take 10 jets our of service in a hurry, it's easier to cut from us than incur a legal challenge from a contract carrier.
i'm not saying they won't use this as leverage during negotiations, but they could pretty much get rid of us right now and give the flying away to cheaper carriers. why would they wait?
