Freedom will lose 6 aircraft (or about 21%) of our current flying for Delta April 1st regardless of the court decision. We will have only 22 erjs flying as of that date. I don't see Delta (who is in court to void our current contract) jumping at the bit to give us more of Comair's flying.

Delta hates Comair, so I see Mesa getting all of our flying. 3825 Delta. 3825 Comair.

Kinda sad, it seems like Delta and DCI is just one big hate-fest. Well, maybe with the exception of ASA/Skywest..

How are things going over at Comair with Bendo...? Is he serving up cool aid? Is anybody buying into his road show?

Obama is just echoing FDR..who said "we have nothing to fear, but fear itself"...if you're going to fault him for that, then i guess you probably think this is all his fault too?

I don't think anyone would be surprised about continued cuts in the CVG flying. The pulldown from hub status to more of a focus city is inevitable, despite what Delta wants everyone to believe. Besides didn't that one dude at DL very carefully word a recent statement regarding the future of the CVG hub past this summer? After the Piedmont merger in 1989, I remember when USAir had hubs in PIT, PHL, CLT, DCA, and BWI, with tiny hubs in DAY and SYR (not to mention all of the focus cities littered all over the NE and Midwest), and look how well it worked out for them...

They are comparing the block hours from last fall to the increase we have this summer. Well of course, we are going to have a massive block hour reduction if we compare it to last September's schedule. We won't know anything until those fall numbers come out. It could be a huge decrease/increase/ stay the same? No one knows. We just have to wait and see what the Fall schedule looks like.

Just my two cents, which isn't really worth much.
Since you are new here ill just warn you that that is the wrong attitude. We do "doom and gloom" here and positve attitudes will make people angry!

The same argument could be made for the mccain quote. It could also be used for some of the things bush said toward the end, when it was obvious things were getting worse. Not arguing for or against these politicians, just pointing out that some are praised while others are blasted, for doing the exact same thing

In some respects it is his fault. All he is doing is echoing the bad fiscal policy of the US from the last 40 years. At least he is being honest with how bad the situation actually is, I'll give him credit for that.

All these stimulus bills are a load of Bull. When you inject 2 Trillion dollars into the economy (Money fresh off the printing press) you did'nt create any value, you just inflated the currency. They are basically giving out money that isnt worth anything, its DEVALUED.

Which brings me to another point... the US is BROKE. NO MONEY, ZIP! And with all thats going on in the market, foreign investors are running away from Wall Street and this Fiat monetary system. I'd get ready for hyperinflation and a collapsed dollar.

You better tell those foreign investors, as the dollar is in high demand at the moment...and has been gaining ground on the Euro and the Pound.

They aren't just printing more money, they are getting(well borrowing as it will have to paid back with interest) the money from government securities such as Bonds, Treasury bills and notes.

Outside shoring up the banks (If a large bank collapse's it will cause massive panic), the stimulus bills won't do much.
