Thats the 1.9% plus the $20 a month that comes out. See it is sort of like the social security we pay into, we will never see the benifits for 30 years.

Dear Comair Pilot Group:
We are deeply saddened by the recent furloughs that the company has brought on us. These are tough times for all of us and please rest assured that your MEC is doing everything possible to minimize the number of members going to the streets.

That only took about 30 sec to write, It's been 2 days and still nothing from the union. I am not getting furloughed but am still fired up that they will not communicate. I don't care if they are in super secret communication with the company like they said last time. For all we know they don't even know that the furloughs are happening. So come on everybody lets stand behind our MUTE MEC as they take us all to the unemployment office.

If any MEC reps are reading this feel free to cut and paste the letter I wrote and put it on the ALPA letterhead I will not get upset at all. Ya might want to fix the spelling errors if there are any I am a pilot not an author for heavens sake.

My last day is September 22!

I seriously want to vomit, I have 2 days off in 20 next month.

"Congratulations on completion of your first year at Comair, he's a pin and a giant suppository. Enjoy wasting away in Queens, we'll attend your funeral in full uniform when you jump off the Verrazano bridge.

If you do happen to make it through October, GREAT things are happening in Flight Ops, including a new month where things may get better in November. Oh wait, you're jobless in November. Nevermind.

Sincerely, The Entire Comair Team"

I was curious about that. Can anyone answer that for me.
I guy in my class left back in January for Compass. At first I thought he was crazy. Now I'm thinking he made a really good move. I just can't imagine making $23/hour for a whole year again. It's really messed up when pilots have to get two jobs just to make ends meet.
