Right now ng4 / bendo is saying,

"Is it Friday yet? I can't believe I have to put up with this for 11 more months. Delta is gonna owe me bigtime..."

We've seen them close Concourse C, 5 CEOs in 5 years, RJs parking at A and B, and you can't believe Comair would close the cafeteria?

I believe it. There's only half the mouths to feed at the GO now than there were two years ago. Probably more folks packing their lunches, too.

It's not like Bubba said they were going to cut the water to the bathrooms...

Don't give them any ideas. Are they turning off the lights at night yet over there at the GO?

Possibly. Source was one of the Sodexo (cafe) employees. I guess their contract is up in April and there hasn't been a re-bid. With management wacking away at GO jobs, the lunch crowd has gotten smaller and smaller. We'll just have to wait and see.

For all the furloughees, I know our travel benefits were degraded after 30 days to S3C for the duration of the furlough for mainline and Comair flights. But Travelnet will let us book on any DCI. Anybody had any problems with it recently. I'm looking to go from BDL to MLB in feb and want to make sure I can get on an asa flight out of ATL. Otherwise I'll go mainline to MCO.

I don't know, but I've been asking that question for a long time now.

During bankruptcy I suggested they should lease the G.O. out and move into some of the space at the old old DHL facility (the one before the huge, now empty sort facility). There's absolutely no excuse for having such an extravagant office space for a company that can't pay its bills or honor its obligations.
