I'm going to try and stay in aviation and have been making some contacts already, but I am done with the airlines (unless it's WN). I was thinking about jumping over to XJ like every other furloughed guy, but I am not going to go there, fly the same damn plane I flew here (or was suppose to fly here '14 CR9') and make $20k/year again. I am also done working for any company affiliated with Delta.

Thanks for the info driver. I am looking at going back to the 135 charter world but I guess I have to wait for the summer season to start or the economy to get better. As for now I am trying to get the Government pay for a 737 type. Good Luck.

As for airline I am considering going to Gojet for the 8 month upgrade.

Good luck trying to get any money out of the government right now, but it can be done, depending where you live. Check out this site for specifically getting a 737 type.

I'm not even going to touch that one...

Please don't do it.

Anyone want to go to Colorado and ski the week of Jan12-16th? I'm thinking Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin...possibly Copper Mountain also.

Oh yeh I get to do recurrent ground for the 70 in Dec and transition to the 50 in Jan. Way to go Comair way to save money. While I might still have a job, waiting for a 8 year upgrade to be a reserve at JFK just isn't going to happen for me. This place is in the toilet!

You said it, i don't see how anyone could possibly deny that this company is circling the drain.

I'm going to send an email to Bendoveritis or whatever his name is, and personally shame him for sending out a furlough notice on thanksgiving eve. It's deplorable and frankly, shows how little tact this management team has.

Comair, you digust me.
