Will not happen till SOC. Union is saying they are working on a fix, but I doubt it.

The only NWA flight you can list on is ATL-NRT and NRT-ATL.

Well I also just rode on a 333 from AMS-ATL last week...

So I guess it's hit and miss?

That's because it's a DL flight on NWA metal. The seats are in Delta Res not NWA Res. You can't even fly on a Comair operated Airlink flight either because it's a NWA flight where the seats are in the NWA Res system.

I haven't heard of any closure, but I do know that Delta is looking to move the Res center from downtown Cincy to the GO. Their lease is up soon and ...well they own the GO building which has lots of free space on the 3rd and 4th floors.

They must be getting excited because it is a 'revenue generator'.

SPECIAL COMAIR BULLETIN FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2009

Published Especially for the Employees of Comair Airlines

* * * * PLEASE POST ON ALL BULLETIN BOARDS * * * *
September 17, 2009

Comair and Executive Employees,

Today Delta made a number of important announcements, including the raising of an additional $55 dollars in cash reserves, the restructuring of Delta and Comair schedules at several key hubs, the continuation of DL's fleet renewal, and the addition of many new international flights. Finally, Comair announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Greyhound to exercise its options to purchase 22 new MAZ-203 single deck city buses. The purchase of these buses will be fully financed. I encourage you to go to EPIC to read DL’s press release and a letter to employees from Delta CEO Richard Anderson.

The combination of all of these announcements is very positive for Comair, Delta and Our Passengers. The improvement in DL's cash balance as a result of the financing agreements will better enable the corporation to manage through this difficult environment and focus on doing the things necessary for intermediate and long-term success. The network changes will make the DL/OH combination more competitive in our most important markets and the addition of 22 MAZ-203s will better enable Comair to support the DL network and make Comair a stronger company.

The new buses will start arriving in June of 2010 and will be delivered in a two-class configuration, resulting in Comair's first "First Class Bus" bus. Starting next spring, Comair will also commence retrofitting our existing fleet of 25 MAZ-203 crew buses to include a first class cabin, so that our entire fleet of 47 MAZ-203s will offer premium class service.

The schedule changes announced today will impact Comair in a number of ways. First, our schedule in JFK will be increased, including the shifting of most of the Q10 and Q33-based MAZ-203 to JFK starting next spring. Schedules will be increased at JFK and LGA and reduced at Grand Central and Times Square. Skywest will take over some Comair routes. Comair will take over some MTA routes and DL and all the other regionals that DL doesn't currently contract with will share a number of routes for the first time. Final specific schedules are still being nailed down but many of the changes will occur on November 5th of 2009, with the remaining changes occurring over the course of the summer of 2010. More details on the schedule changes can be found on EPIC.

We are in the process of determining the impact these changes will have on staffing requirements for each of our work groups and will be communicating on this topic as soon as we have definitive information to share.

I believe that the schedule changes which Delta has directed for Comair -- and for DL's other regional partners, Chautauqua Airlines, Pinnacle, Shuttle America, Skywest, ASA, Mesaba, Compass and Freedom which DL intends to shift from everywhere to CVG and JFK -- will make the DL network more successful in this extremely competitive business. I am pleased that Comair will be playing an important role in these changes to strengthen the network, shuttle our customers from Lefferts Blvd to JFK and to begin detailed planning for delivery of the new MAZ-203s. I hope you share my pride in the fact that DL has confidence in our ability to respond to these requests and to operate the new schedule safely and reliably.

Today's announcements are consistent with our Plan to Win and its three major strategies of retaining DL as a customer, preparing for additional shrinkage, and aligning all employee buses under our operating certificates.

Thank you for everything you do to work safely and provide outstanding service to our customers and each other. For a picture of our new MAZ-203's (not yet painted), see link below!
