God, there are guys on there that went from CRC to CR7 and now back to CRF or CRC. They must be spending a crapload of money on Sim and Transition training. How many freakin' checkrides is that in a year? Damn.

I was please to receive a check from the mighty Comair this morning, my first since December last year. As I opened it with excitement, I soon came to the realization that it was for $0.22.
I decided to give the GO a call and see if they could explain why I had a paycheck for less than the mailing cost and was told that it was.... Profit Sharing!!
I don't want to hold a grudge but if they're going to give me profit sharing it could at least be a fair share
The payroll lady said:
*giggle* 'you're furloughed, you're not meant to get anything at all, hehe, add a quarter to it and but yourself a candy bar' *giggle*
What a kick in the nuts....

With this displacement, the lowest FO in CVG is the same guy who was the lowest FO awarded a Captain upgrade last year.
Or in other words,
CVG has become a Captain-only base.
So when this has all played out later this year, the seniority to hold Captain (JFK) will be 9.5 years
The seniority to hold Cincy FO will be 6 years
The seniority to not be furloughed will be 3.2 years
Pilots on property = 988
Pilots off property = 373
Percent of pilot group furloughed = 27%

Upgrade time at Comair will be:
5 years 2 months longer than at ASA
6 years 1 month longer than at Mesa
6 years 4 months longer than at Pinnacle
6 years 8 months longer than at Chitaco / Republic
6 years 10 months longer than at SkyWest
7 years 4 months longer than at Compass
7 years 7 months longer than at Mesaba
and
1 month longer than upgrade at Delta Airlines
And Delta complains that our crew costs are not competitive? I really wonder why that is...

According to ACL65 over on Majors forum (Delta latest and greatest) something(BAD) big is coming down the pike in August for DCI carriers and it looks like ASA, SkyWest, and Comair are going to be affected the most. He's got a good pulse on what's going on there at DL, so I trust what he puts out. I mean the only way to go is down, so we're either going to loose a hell of a lot more hours or we're going to be loosing some airframes to another DCI carrier.
