Default Contract Negotiations

Our contract is amendable starting March 1st. of 2011. If you have listened to management in the last few months, it’s very obvious that the will be looking for concessions. Just look at the power point presentation on Epic and listen to Bendo’s conference call. My question is when do we begin negotiations? Are we going to believe management lies that if we accept concisions we will see growth coming our way?

ALPA working hard again... Let's keep downgraded Captains keep their four stripes (you still getting paid as an FO). I know it sucks, but don't we have more important issues we should be concerned about?

According to Bendo, we will lose 15% in 2010 from 2009. Are we looking at more fuloughs?

I think the furloughs in NOV and planned in JAN will probably take care of that?

Which means 15% is roughly 42,000 hrs for the year, break down is loss of 3500 hrs per month.

what is the expected staff level supposed to be at after NOV and JAN furlough. if that gets shrinkair down to the 800-900 range than hopefully the furloughs will stop.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1030 total. I don't know how many out of that number are actually active.

Probably close to 990 with the early outs and the Jan 1 furloughs.

Yeah maybe reflecting new seniority numbers as of Jan 2010.

But with today's numbers and the January furloughs: 1030.
